A cream or lotion to men going bald could be sale in the next five years. Scientists from the University of Pennsylvania in the USA have the reason why so many men their hair. It is because of a protein in the scalp that creates baldness – it hair from growing. Drugs that can the protein already available, which means companies could start making the hair-loss cure. Scientists say it could make new hair start to grow on a head.

The possible cure could the life of many men worried about bald. It would also do with the need for wigs or hair transplants. The study’s lead researcher Dr George Cotsarelis said: “Male pattern baldness is the common type of hair loss men. By the of 50, about 50 per cent of men will have degree of…baldness. By the age of 70, 70 per cent have it.” He added: “There is a number of people who would have hair than not [have it].”
