Hindus around the world have celebrating the festival of Diwali, or the "festival of " in English. The celebration is one of the important in the Hindu calendar. People celebrate buying gold, eating special sweets and letting firecrackers. Indian government spokesman Prithviraj Chavan citizens to cut on noise pollution by not burning crackers. He said: "This is also a to protect our environment pollution."

Diwali on the new moon night mid-October and mid-November. This year, animal have asked people not to make too much noise they celebrate. A doctor from India’s Government Pet Hospital said: “Pets stressed during Diwali to the noise of firecrackers. So they should be…. They should not be left especially in the evening.” He said the hospital has already seen bad of stress in pets over the two days.
