A new study that family meals help children stay . Researchers from the University of Illinois that kids who eat at the table with their family are healthier and have a risk of obesity. The research team also says that sitting for breakfast, lunch or dinner children healthy eating habits. Researcher Dr Amber Hammons : “Families that eat five or more meals have children who are up to 25 per cent likely to encounter nutritional health .”

Family meals also encourage positive behaviour in children. They learn manners sitting at the table and are more sociable because they their parents’ conversation. This is not the with children who eat alone or who sit in of the television with their meal. In decades, more and children sit on the sofa watching TV. This can to their food going and them not eating it. Eating alone also means the child misses out on developing social .
