The eighth Homeless World Cup competition is to an end in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The winner will be on September 26th. The event is a way to highlight the problem of homelessness in the world. Its is, “Beating homelessness football”. The official website says: “There are one billion homeless people in our world . This is a global that affects every nation. The Homeless World Cup has a for a healthy, [generous], confident world where everyone has a - a basic human .”

The first competition took in 2003 in Austria. In 2008, Afghanistan were World Champions and this , Palestine and Haiti are their debuts. More than 30,000 homeless men and women the world have been in and 64 national teams are in Rio.
