Movie Director Killed in El Salvador

Top French movie director Christian Poveda has been killed in El Salvador. He was shot on a road near the capital San Salvador. He was busy filming a new documentary. The filmmaker is famous for his 2008 movie “La Vida Loca”, which means “The Crazy Life”. The film is all about gangs and violence in El Salvador. Local police believe gang members killed him. They have arrested one man and are now questioning him. Poveda was just 53 years old. His first career was as a journalist. He covered El Salvador's 1980-1992 civil war.
