The world’s oldest dog has aged 147. That’s in “dog years”, not years. She was 21 years old in our years. Her name was Chanel and she was a dachshund (also known as a dog). Chanel’s , Denice and Karl Shaughnessy, were very sad at the of their pet. They said she was a of their life for so many years. Mrs Shaughnessy told reporters that Chanel, who loved chocolate, lived a long time because she was by God. "Dogs are God's angels here to look out for us," she said.

I wonder if Chanel knew she was so old. I’m not sure if I want to be old. People who live to be 100 or more see many in their life. They are almost like a history book. People who are over 100 today can remember life before cars. New medicine will more of us live longer and longer.
